I am here. Went to the dr yesterday for the unpteenth time and was told Gee we don't know. So today I decided I am fine and will not see another foe awhile. Went to vote, played with the puppies, and will now get busy and clean the house. I bought new fabric yesterday. Go me and have to make a BOS for a craft buddy. Busy busy me;). All is well with the world as long as I have kids, grandkids and puppies. And I have all of those.

Owgranny rides again

Boy how many years has it been since I have written here? Well. Here I am still missing my Docque-a-roo. Been baking for a halloween party across the street and a church bake sale for my neighbors church. So now I am resting. Been trying to get hte house clean but can't seem to for the runs to one doctor or another. All readt for Halloween have scads of decorations and candy. Hoping for lots of trick-or-treaters. Auntie Pooh gave me the most precious witch owl I love it. Found owl placemats and have new owl towls from the pooh to. So all ready for whatever comes my way. Will be glad to find out what makes my face and arm numb but there is nothing they can do for my degenative spine disease or arthritis. Pain is highly overrated should just be rated G for all the time. Have to get to my emails now only have dozens :)

Mugwort and Stylin

Got a replacement mugwort. Gonna keep it indoors for a while. Nasty deers ate my other one. I am taking predisone and anti-inflams for my neck. Old age sucks!! Got a new white caftan with black dragons. WooHoo I'm stylin now. Will go with my new hat. Go me. Having an MRI this afternoon to see why the numbness and tingling in my neck and face. OOOOH I have a tingly face.:D My Mandy got her very first by herself job she is such a precious girl. Have to vaccum :(

57 and counting

Happy Birthday to me LA LA LA LA I made a caramel cake, gonna have potato salad and brisket. Papa got me a precious new baby doll. Kids called and all is well. Have to plant daffadils and lilies. All is well with the world here in Waldo. Even bought two new hats yesterday. What more could a granny ask for??

Happy Birthday to my Grandgirl. I can't believe she is so big. It was only yesterday that she was wee. I am so very blessed and proud to be her granny. She is such a joy. As ia her Momma of course.

WOOHOO found a owl in the halloween section of the store and a neat witch coffee cup. I have been planting today. 15 iris in my iris bed. A walking stick plant in the front yard and three bleeding hearts next to the house. I also put a neon light plant next to the house. Hope all do nicely. Have some red lilies coming for beside the front door and some foxglove for my sacred circle and all done. Have to plant some seeds this fall but mostly the flowers are in the ground. I like the ones you plant once and they keep on growing and multiplying. Now that's my kind of plant. The buterflies love my sacred circle. I have bachelor buttons lantana and Joe Pye weed blooming now.Found a new olive green comforter and sheets for my bedroom. Now I need to get the paint. Working working working. :P

Here are the little girls on a camel. What fun!! I am cleaning and doing laundry. Hey isn't this labor day?? My iris have been shipped so will plant them soon. The ac is off and windows are open. I love it here. Got the living dining room painted and going to get the green paint for my bedroom today or tomorrow. Woo Hoo I am on a roll. My virus is getting ?? Or is that hopeful thinking. I keep getting new ones but doctor them so maybe... The world is fine not great but tolerable :)

Well, got some of the living room/dining room painted today. Is taking two coats so got the two of the three walls painted peach and have the remaining and three walls to paint darker shade. Looks better than BLAH white. Then will start on the halls and bedroom. WooHoo. Got another dragon today. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Still hot but ac is on.Gotsta get busy painting

Full Moon but I'm not Dancing

Well the Moon is full and beautiful. But it's just too hot for dancing. Have gotten my screen doors on the front. (much cussing and fussing from papa). Working on sewing a scarecrow door hanger and a halloween witch doll. Thinking about painting the inside of the house. Need to brighten it up!!Got new glasses. WOW I can see again. I really like seeing the small print on things. Won't long till I can decorate for Samhain. WooHoo. Ready for FALL WEATHER. and soon.

Have a Blessed Lammas

Well, here it is another Lammas. I did laundry, got my eyes tested and ordered new glasses. I will bake corn bread sticks this pm to go with dinner. Is so very hot and humid and I don't have my air on so didn't want to go the bread route. Have ordered many herb seeds and hopefully they will come up when planted. I hope all is well with you. Well, the girls went home last weekend. They were glad to see the MOM. I kept listening trying to figure out the sound I was hearing. It was the sound of "SILENCE". Hadn't heard that for three weeks. HeeHee. I bought and planted rosemary, echinacea, bachelor buttons,and a dark rusty orange mum in my sacred circle. And a lipstick plant and purple shamrocks for the front shady flower bed:). I have lots of weeds to get out of the front:(. It finally rained today not as much as I had hoped for. The deer and rabbits are eating my hollyhocks and daisies. I bought a spray on repellant that I hope works. I spilled a whole Dr Pepper in my kitchen and so had to mop the floor. But it was already dirty so the spillage was just an extra incentive. I haven't heard from the Pooh and I really am missing her. I hope she has a wonderful time in Georgia. And hurries back so I can talk to her:D. So goes the life of this old crone.

Here I am trying to stay cool. I really did turn on the AC. The girls were getting testy and so was I. Went to Shreveport again yesterday. Papa had a breathing test. I am trying to get going today on something but haven't found the energy yet. I did buy two screen door for the front double doors yesterday. I really like them or will when they're installed. Gonna go to the store tomorrow and get some things like food. Nothing flashy or fun.Finally got my wee pestle and mortar in the mail. Looks so cute.:) Girls will be going home this weekend. They are so sweet and ornery at the same time. Pooh have fun on your jaunt to Georgia. Have to run and get busy well maybe walk. I love my suave mauve house. Looking good!!

HOT HOT HOT

Two of my girls have been for a couple of weeks. Unfortuntely we have had two long trips to the Dr for Papa and the heat is unbearable!! But we will survive. I really can't afford to turn on the ac but may have to . Been busy and will write more later.

Circus Train

As we were going to Shreveport yesterday, right here in the middle of Waldo what did we see but the Barnum and Bailey Ringling Bros. Circus Train!! There were 58 cars. We saw elephants, lions, tigers, lots of equipment and carnival rides. Plus food carts etc. I was really impressed. Papa had his procedure and except for the catheter leaking is fine. We have that taken out Thursday. I hope that the laser treatment will work.

Happy Faeries Day to all. I have been doing laundry and trying to weed one of my flower gardens. It is very muggy today and the grass is growing in the flowers much better then in the yard. I have to mow later for Papa he isn't feeling well. Rained last night and I was glad for the cooler weather. Leo gets his procedure done Monday in Shreveport. I sure hope it helps. Have not written in a LOONG time. But here I am now. Been cleaning house and trying to be a hostess to ( here's where the scarry music starts) a baptist preacher from Gila bend. I really wish they (the baptists) didn't feel so led to preach to me. I can't seem to get them to understand that I have checked into all sorts of religious rites and have found nothing that meets my criteria. Oh well, I really think my god is a female so I guess that is Goddess. I don't like all the male superiority that exists in most of the religions. I believe that women are far better than the other sex. We can do things that the other sex can not do!! So so heiny bo

Well, here I am doing my happy dance to the universe. Okay, so my haire isn't yellow, the rest of it fits me!! Doing laundry and trying to stay cool. 92 degrees and very humid. Still not turning on the A/C. I just don't see how we can afford it. But with using the attic fan at night and the ceiling fans during the day we are making it. Have a pot roast to put on and then when I have all the laundry hung out to dry I might read a book. Hoping all your dreams come true.

I love my Girls

I sure wish I could sit down and have coffee with the Pooh but just knowing we would if we could is enough for now. Since moving back near the old home state I have noticed so many things I would love to be able to share with my mother. The birds, my bleeding heart plant, my lilacs,violets, and lilies. The weather and sleeping with the attic fan on at night. How everyone here calls cicadas "locusts" and the slug trails on the sidewalk in the mornings. I guess I am just old and slipping back into my childhood. But regardless (or should I say irregardless) I love it here. Seems to appease my soul to be back where I started. I think I will be content to grow old here.

And you know never to disturb resting dragons (right?) I have watered my flowers. cleaned house, papa has bar b qued, and I am watching the discovery channel about Egypt, mummies etc. Even went to church with papa and stayed awake!! What a good girl am I. Miss the Pooh kid and hope her face is better. The brat kid should be home with her babies. All three!! HAHA. Okay no more nasties. just hanging out and enjoying not living in Gila Hell Bend. All of universe should have the luck to leave hell like I did. :) Isn't my red dragon cute? I am partial to the green one but red is nice too.

I FINALLY SAW FAERIES!!!

We have been here seven months and we just saw our first faeries. Course some old stick in the muds might call them fireflies but we know better now don't we. I saw 3 or 4 but am now convimced that there are more here for me to see. What a wonderful gift for memorial day. Be Blessed,

Was in Shreveport all day yesterday. The only good thing was I got to eat at Sonic. Have been trying to paint but seem to keep running out of steam. Papa just isn't up to it and I HATE ladders. But will keep plodding along. It is over ninety so may wait until very early tomorrow.My paint is this color and I love it. So pretty. I am going to put a witch ledge on the east side. Read about them being in England. Must get back to my rat killing. Hot and sweaty am I.

Well, yet another trip to the dentist for the old man. And still no relief. Will try again Monday. This Weekend is the Magnolia Festival. WooHoo, will have one kid and 2 great kids with us to test out the gala. All is new to us here. But one thing is sure we will know what to expect next year. Have more of the house painted, Will be done someday I guess. I don't get excited about anything except cheezits and baked potatoes. I think Auntie Pooh's idea of a perfect retirement is also mine, but I want it here in Waldo.Enjoying the baby girl being here. Her big sister comes tomorrow for the weekend.
